As a private hire event venue, we provide a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome in the heart of the Essex countryside. Lovejoys at The George, Kelvedon is an ideal setting for any special event or occasion.
We have a number of different spaces, including two private function suites, a bar, an outdoor garden and a large outdoor space. We can tailor your package and are suitable for 30 up to 150 guests, it's the perfect venue for your party, corporate event or get-together, whether formal or informal.
With a background in events, through our wedding and event catering division, Lovejoys at The George, we know exactly what matters and how to make your event special and memorable and we always go that extra mile. Private hire is available Monday to Sunday, all week.

At our event venue, we can offer you a sympathetic, professional and personal service for your loved one’s wake or celebration of life. We have a number of different options to tailor your package exactly to your needs. With catering from just £17.95 per person, you can be sure that you'll be able to relax in our private space exactly how you wish.

Organising a function, birthday, anniversary, or other celebration? Our formal dinners will be the right fit for your event. We pride ourselves on creating dishes from scratch, using the finest ingredients from local suppliers.
